Your Civema customer login and each mailbox password are separate. Mailbox credentials are used for webmail, IMAP and SMTP.

## Change or reset

1. Open the email service in your authorized Civema customer account.
2. Edit the relevant mailbox and set a long, unique password.
3. Verify a new webmail sign-in, then update both incoming and outgoing credentials on every device.

If you lack access, contact your company administrator or open a verified support request. Never put passwords in tickets. Repeated attempts with an old password can trigger temporary blocks.

## Suspected compromise

Use a clean device, change credentials and review forwarding rules. Do not assume a password change instantly terminates every existing session; request a session and sending review. If webmail works but Outlook fails, inspect stored credentials and SMTP authentication before deleting profiles.
