# Add business email to Gmail on Android

The Android Gmail app can manage a Civema mailbox as a separate IMAP account. This does not make it a Google Workspace account.

1. Tap your profile picture in Gmail, then Add another account.
2. Choose Other, enter the full address and select Personal (IMAP).
3. Complete incoming and outgoing settings and keep SMTP sign-in enabled.
4. Choose the display name and synchronization preferences.

Use IMAP: kurumsal.civema.com, port 993 with SSL/TLS. SMTP: kurumsal.civema.com, port 587 with STARTTLS or 465 with SSL/TLS. Both require your full email address and mailbox password. Enable outgoing server authentication.

Verify the From address when composing. Check Sent messages in webmail and remember that IMAP deletions synchronize across devices. Battery restrictions can delay notifications even when mail has arrived. Test manual refresh before changing server settings. Never bypass certificate validation.
